About
HISAB 360 was built because financial work shouldn't have to leave the spreadsheet. We meet you in Excel, not in a new app.
Every finance team we've ever worked with — auditors at the Big 4, controllers at SMEs, founders doing their own books — closes the month in Excel. They have ERP systems, BI tools, and a dozen SaaS subscriptions. But when it matters, the data lands in a workbook and the work happens there.
That workflow is broken in two ways. First, the mechanical parts — copy-paste from the ERP, vlookup until your eyes bleed, manually reconcile two columns of dates — take hours that should take minutes. Second, the institutional knowledge — how your team specifically does bank rec, how your CFO wants variance commentary phrased — lives in the head of one senior person and a folder of templates nobody else can navigate.
HISAB 360 fixes both. The mechanical parts go to AI and Python, running right inside Excel. The institutional knowledge gets captured as skills — small, sharable, version-controlled — that the AI can use the next time anyone on the team needs them.
We're not building a replacement for Excel. We're building the layer on top of it that should have existed twenty years ago.
Workbooks never leave your computer. Only the specific context you ask about (sheet names, ranges, sample rows) goes to the AI. No telemetry, no upload, no "anonymous usage statistics."
Every write is logged. Every dangerous action needs your nod. We didn't build a tool for moving fast and breaking things — we built one for closing the books.
Skills are version-controlled YAML + Python that live with the team. Reproducible, reviewable, transferrable — not magic spells inside one person's brain.
The interface is conversation. The plumbing — MCP, Python, OAuth, the ERP REST calls — is hidden until you want to see it. Then it's all there, documented and inspectable.
