# HISAB 360 > HISAB 360 is an AI-powered Microsoft Excel add-in for accountants and finance teams. It reads sheets, writes formulas, runs sandboxed Python, reconciles with your ERP, generates VBA macros and ribbon buttons, and drafts reports through plain-English conversation inside Excel — turning each request into a governed workflow that sends only the needed context to your AI, routes risky writes through approval, and journals every change to an audit log. HISAB 360 is a Microsoft Excel add-in (a VSTO add-in built in C# on .NET Framework 4.8) that turns plain-English requests into governed finance workflows. It is positioned as a controlled finance operating system inside Excel rather than a chatbot: it reads sheets, writes formulas, runs sandboxed Python, reconciles with your ERP, generates VBA macros and custom ribbon buttons, and drafts reports — with risky writes routed through approval and every change journaled to an audit log. It does not resell AI. A WebView2 chat panel docks beside the spreadsheet and drives your own AI command-line tool — Anthropic's Claude Code or OpenAI's Codex — through a local MCP server on your machine, so AI usage is billed to you directly with no markup. Node.js 22 is bundled. HISAB 360 runs on Windows 10 or 11 with Excel 2016 or later (or Microsoft 365 desktop), .NET Framework 4.8 and the WebView2 runtime, and installs per-machine from a signed (Authenticode) installer — 64-bit or 32-bit, plus an MSI for IT deployment. Pre-built connectors reach Odoo, Xero, QuickBooks Online and Zoho Books over OAuth, REST and OData; ERP credentials are encrypted with Windows DPAPI and never leave the machine. Sandboxed Python runs in an isolated CPython process (pandas, numpy, openpyxl, plotly, reportlab and 40+ packages) with results written straight back to the sheet. Four operating modes — Ask-only, Plan, Action and Automate — govern what runs automatically, and only sheet names, ranges, headers and sample rows are ever sent to the AI; workbooks, audit logs and skill code stay local in %APPDATA%\HISAB. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial of the full Professional experience, no card required (once per machine, tracked server-side). Starter is $20/month ($200/year) for one read-only seat; Professional is $30/month ($300/year) and adds approval-gated ERP write-back; Team (3+ seats, 15% off) is $17/seat/month read-only or $25.50/seat/month read-and-write. Annual billing charges 10 months for 12, and Paddle is the Merchant of Record. ## Product - [HISAB 360 — overview](https://hisab360.net/): AI-powered Excel add-in that automates financial reporting, ERP reconciliation, sandboxed Python analysis and workflow scripting — by conversation, inside Excel. - [Features](https://hisab360.net/features.html): The four pillars — AI-driven, Python-powered, ERP-native and audit-grade — plus macro and ribbon generation, four operating modes (Ask-only, Plan, Action, Automate), and the hands-free Sahib & Sahiba voice advisor. - [Use cases](https://hisab360.net/use-cases.html): Twelve weekly finance workflows — month-end close, bank reconciliation, AR/AP ageing, variance analysis, audit prep, financial statements, forecasting and more — plus by-industry playbooks for manufacturing, retail, services, real estate, non-profits and professional firms. - [Pricing](https://hisab360.net/pricing.html): Starter $20/mo, Professional $30/mo, and Team from $17/seat/mo; plans differ only by ERP write-back and seat count. 14-day free trial of Professional, no card.
